  • Throughout his career from a functional to a leadership role, as a Team Member, Team Leader and Principal Investigator, He has 16+ years of  research experience in Computational Fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • He actively involved in the CFD analysis of the new High Altitute Platform vehicle during the various design phases of the vehicle, which has an increasing demand and importance for civil and strategic/military applications. As a Principal Investigator, he has  performed CFD analysis over a new Amphibious Aircraft configuration. Meshing and CFD simulations on a any new aircraft model are demanding and challenging. Completed all the tasks on time and submitted the data  to the design teams.  CFD studies have also been performed on a Continuous Wind Tunnel (Preliminary layout), a major National Level programme. A few CFD studies have also been carried out over CSIR-NAL’s SARAS - PT1N / SARAS - NG, multi-purpose aircraft to identify the various hot spots for higher drag. Involved in developing various schemes/methods/scriptings and applied for various aerospace applications during his tenure in CFD.
  • He is currently holding the responsibilities of Project and Business Management in CSIR-NAL. Recently relocated  to advance his career in Project and Business Management field. It will provide him access to new opportunities, networks and environments that could accelerate his professional growth.

Key skills and responsibilities:

    * Project Planning and Execution: Developing a detailed project plan that includes objectives, scope, timeline, resources, and budget. This often involves creating project schedules, defining deliverables etc.
    * Team Leadership & Development: Leading and motivating a team to achieve project goals. This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance, and addressing any issues that arise.
    * Budgeting & Financial Management: Achieving financial stability and reaching your financial goals.
    * Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively, including team members, materials, and budget. This involves understanding the skills and capacities of team members and ensuring they are utilized efficiently.
    * Communication with Scientists: Regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
    * Monitoring and Control: Tracking the progress of the projects against the plan.
    * Quality Management: Ensuring that the project deliverables meet the required standards and quality criteria as per the sponsoring agencies.
    * Project Closure: Completing the project and ensuring all objectives have been met. This includes finalizing deliverables, conducting a post-project review, and documenting lessons learned.

He also interested in learning Business Analysis & Strategies, KM, IPR related activities, etc..

Awards and Honors :

  • He has been awarded the finalist for SAADHAK Award in the corporate conclave SAADHANA from HAL Management Academy in the category of Aerospace & Aviation held during 2nd and 3rd February 2024. Honoured to receive the “C V Raman Prize 2023” from the Institute of Researchers in recognition of Outstanding Professional and Research achievements in the field of Aerospace Engineering on 25-08-2023. Indian Achiever’s Award (2022) in recognition of “Outstanding Professional Achievement & Contribution towards Nation Building” from the Indian Achievers' Forum, Delhi on 23-11-2022. Best Paper Award” at the Annual Seminar in Hindi (ANSH-2019) held at CSIR-NAL on May 23, 2019,  Bangalore. Received a Nomination Certificate for “Best Scientist Award (India)” from the “Society of Aeronautical Engineers” presented during the 2nd National Conference on Academic and Industrial Research in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering” held on March 24, 2018, at Kerala State Science and Technology Museum, Trivandrum. Received a prestigious “IEI Young Engineers Award” from the Institution of Engineers India (IEI) on Nov 8, 2013.
