Description and Specifications: This is a 2 metre diameter L or S band antenna. The parabolic dish is connected to a dual-polarized (RHCP and LHCP) tracking feed. The elevation and azimuth are adjusted by an indoor tracking controller (model AL-4000-ACU). The pedestal contains two digital servo amplifiers (model AL-2006-DDSA-02), which are DSP-based units.

Application: This tracking system is essential for all the trials of the Saras PT1N aircraft.
