R&D and Professional activities:

C. Jayaprakash has a Masters in Energy Systems Engineering from B.V.B. College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli (2003) and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering at the Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere (2000). Thereafter I have worked at the Govt. UBDT College of Engineering, Davangere as a Lecturer for one year and at B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru as a Lecture for three and a half years. I have joined the National Aerospace Laboratories in June 2008 in Propulsion Division as a Scientist B and currently working as a Scientist and also an Internal Auditor. Main interests are in Thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical engineering and aerospace propulsion and has developed heat flux gauge to measure heat flux in a high temperature flow. Working for national programs like developmental program of High Speed Combustors for HSTDV, engine intake studies and development of small gas turbine engines.
