Vinay C A is a Scientist in the CCADD Division at CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bangalore. He graduated with a B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University in the year 2006. Subsequently, he obtained his M.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology, Surathkal in the year 2013. At CSIR-NAL, he has briefly worked in the area of Aircraft Powerplant & Fuel System design, integration and testing. (2008-2017). Followed by this, he has been working in the area of practical CFD studies of icing characteristics of Turbofan engine intake, Turboprop engine air intake, thermal analysis of pusher configured engine exhaust implications, jet pump design and Aircraft environmental control system at CSIR-NAL and he has more than 15 years of experience in the field of aero engines.
