Mr. Senthil Kumar has expertise in high temperature solid state electrochemical devices. His major contributions are in the development of hydrocarbon compatible anode supported solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and oxygen sensor for pilot life support system. He is a key member of a team, which is in the process of transferring tape casting technology of alumina and zirconia substrates for electronics and SOFC, respectively. He is also developing AlN and modified alumina green tapes for high temperature co-fired ceramics (HTCC) packaging. He is well versed in synthesis of ionic and super conducting materials with new compositions and crystallographic analysis. He has expertise in tapecasting and slip casting of ceramics.
