Dr. Bera has expertise in the areas of heterogeneous catalysis such as CO oxidation, NO reduction, hydrocarbon oxidation and hydrogen production. He is well versed in the preparation of functional ceramic materials and techniques such as XPS, AES, FTIR, XAFS, MS, GC, temperature programmed desorption (TPD), temperature programmed reaction (TPR) and plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). Presently, his work is related to surface engineering, characterization, deposition of coatings and thin films for stealth applications.
