Dushyant Kaliyari, a graduate of Bhilai Institute of Technology Durg (2011) with a degree in Electronics & Telecommunication and a masters in Dynamics and Control (Department of Aerospace Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (2013), is a Scientist in Flight Mechanics and Control Division (FMCD), CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories Bangalore. He joined NAL in the year 2016. Prior to joining as a scientist, he worked as a scientist fellow in NAL from December 2013 to March 2016. He is a member of Modeling and Identification Group and has been actively involved in the system identification of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) for all the three variants. In addition to LCA, he has also worked for the FOC upgradation of Mirage aircraft and validation of aerodynamic derivatives for Hindustan Turbo Trainer (HTT40) aircraft. His research areas include system identification, parameter estimation, flight mechanics, flight simulation and control theory.
