Her research is focused on fundamental and applied Polymer Chemistry related to aerospace and non-aerospace sectors. Research contributions include investigation of high performance polymer composites for advanced applications, synthesis, and processing of Polymer nano composites for EMI Shielding applications and development of bio-ceramic scaffolds for medical applications. Product specific research related to qualification and certification of polymer composite materials and tailored formulations have been conducted for several programs and projects that have led to successful Technology transfers.

Currently, she has been involved in indigenising the materials / processing technologies and demonstrating prototypes and certified products for aerospace and allied sectors.
