Navstream Sharpe XR6 Differential Global Positioning System
Description and Specifications: This system is at Telemetry (ASTE) and is used during taxi trials for recording the position of the Saras PT1N aircraft (latitude and longitude) with an accuracy of upto 2 centimetres. It is a 12-channel system. Sharpe XR6 can be supplied with a number of memory options for the storage of information. (The Options available are usually 12, 20, or 32MB.)
Applications: The system is ideal for a range of civil and military applications including tracking and the positioning of sensors.
