Benudhar Sahoo Dr

Benudhar Sahoo is a Principal Scientist in Materials Science Division, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore. He completed his post graduate education from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in the year 2000. He qualified CSIR-JRF in 2001 and joined as JRF in Materials Science Division, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore in 2002. He carried out research on development of PZT and PMN materials under the guidance of Dr.P.K.Panda, Chief Scientist, Materials Science Division, Bangalore and received his Ph.D. degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum in the year 2008.He is currently working on energy harvesting using PZT materials, electrospinning of ceramic and polymer nanofibers.

• Piezoelectric (PZT) and Lead free Piezo ceramics.

• Synthesis of materials by various processing route.

• Fabrications of PZT actuators and sensors for aerospace application.
• Energy Harvesting using piezo materials.
• Nanofibers by electrospinning.
