He has around 18 years of R & D experience in the field of Design and development of tooling’s & equipment’s for process and products. He has expertise in developing process for fabrication of CD Nozzle, Near Net Shaped Throat Inserts (NNSTI), Flame Strut and Combustion Chamber Lining using Ultra High Temperature Ceramic Composites (UHTCs). Particular focus areas are development of opto-mechanical modules, jigs and fixtures for Instrumentation & Industry grade Drishti Transmissometer. He has 2 Patents, 5 Journal Publications, 4 conference Papers and 20 Internal Technical documents to his credit. He has been awarded ISAMPE Award for his research work on Composite Materials. He has also received CSIR-NAL Best Innovation award in the year 2014 for his contribution to Development of Ultra High Temperature Ceramic Composite--- Near Net Shaped Throat Insert for 400kgf Thruster. He is also a part of many prestigious awards received for Drishti Transmissometer like CSIR Technology Award, IETE Diamond Jubilee Corporate Award, NRDC India Meritorious Invention Award, CSIR-NAL Best Innovation Award, IESA Corporate award and Make in India Award
