Anjana Jain Dr

Dr Jain has done MSc, MPhil in Physics and PhD in the field of Aerospace polymers.  Her background of a harmonious combination of basic and applied aspects of Physics has enabled her to successfully develop sensors for aerospace applications. She has been working on “Development and Characterization of piezoelectric Poly Vinyledene Fluoride (PVDF) sensors and it composite film’s sensors for transducer applications”. As a Raman Research Fellow, she has worked on energy harvesting and anti-icing applications using PVDF, at University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. She has also contributed to many other aerospace applications like structural health monitoring, Acoustic sensing, Strain sensing, Ultrasonic sensing, Surface pressure mapping, flapping wing applications etc. She is reviewer in few journals and has supervised MTech and PhD Theses.

Among Managerial and administrative achievements, she has organized many International and National Conferences. She has ssuccessfully completed prestigious senior level Leadership Development Program. On the basis of her performance, she was selected as tutor for the next batches. She was also chosen one of 8 Cliff members among 120 candidates. She has been Member- Management Council—NAL- 2007-2009. She has been an active member of ISAMPE as Treasurer, Secretary and Executive member respectively. Presently she is Governing council, member, Indian Society for Smart Structures and Systems ISSS, since 2016. She has attended NIAS-DST Programme for Women Scientists / Technologists on “SCIENCE FOR PROGRESS IN INDIA; FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY” held at NIAS Bangalore, Feb 2016. She was invited as Judge for Regional Level Science Exhibition at KV NAL, November 2014
